Young Paramedics.

Young Paramedics.

Age.
The representation of age in Young Paramedics is positive as they are showing 16 - 19 who are normally shown as being selfish and only caring about clubbing, mostly because of the age that they are. Whereas in this show they are represented as being caring, due to them being paramedics, and not caring about having a social life, which is uncommon for most teenagers between those ages. This appeals to people as viewers who are those ages or that want a career in that field may watch this to get ideas and to see what life would be like for them. It appeals to them personally.

Gender.
The beginning of the programme shows a man first and then skips through showing them male, female, male, etc. This could represent that the male holds the most power in the programme, therefore by using his image first it represents that he, as a male, is more important than the females in the programme.
